We have walking..

Although he still isn't confident enough to walk unassisted, this is a huge milestone. He will hold your hands and try and take off. He prefers using his walker though as he wants to do it on his own.

He was so tried, but still wanted to play.

Oak Forest Fall Festival

Victoria, Mark's daughter, goes to Oak Forest and they were having a fall festival this weekend. We stopped by to check it out.

Christine was at her mom's this weekend. She had a birthday party and a slumber party. She will be back over to our house next weekend. As she gets older she has so many things going on with her friends. That is why we can't wait to sell the town home and move north to be closer to her. Hopefully after the first of the year we will be ready to sell..

My work had a Halloween party. They had food, drinks and costume contests.

We won for the best family costume.. this was our prize.
A basket full of goodies, there was margaritia mix, chips, salsa, limes, glasses and the all needed advil.

Chuck E Cheese

Christine wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese.

Wow, this place is so different than I remember as a child. They don't have the ball pits any more and there just aren't that many rides. Tons of games still.

CANstruction Gala

Our "cake" won 2nd place and will go to the National Competition next June.

Our blog and the purpose...

Well we tried to make our blog private but the maintenance to do that was too overwhelming and I just don't have the time for it..

so we will make it public again..

the reason that we created this blog was to share with our family and friends what was going on in our lives on a daily basis..

someone stated that we are bragging on our blog.. well I guess you can call it that.. I can't imagine anyone would want to read about the tv shows we watch, where we went to dinner, what time I got home from work, etc.. they want to read the accomplishments and what fun and family things we are doing... so if that is what you want to read.. then you are in the right place..

CANstruction

We signed up to participate in the CANstruction event with the Houston Food Bank. This was done with my work, Walter P Moore. All of the designs are made with cans. We did not use any card board or tape in our design. They will be judged on Thursday night at a Gala that we are attending. All of the cans used will be donated to the Houston Food Bank.

Our design was a wedding cake, this is the board that tells about our design.

Andrew's Halloween Costume

He is going to be Tigger for Halloween.

His 1st birthday theme is going to be Winnie the Pooh too.
