August 21.. update

August 21, 2006 It's a BOY!! We found out a week earlier than expected since I was having some major pains. My doc had me go into Labor and Delivery on Thursday night. They monitored me all night and Friday morning they did an ultrasound. They determined that it wasn't pre-term labor, an ovarian cyst or a kidney stone, but that I am having major round ligament pains. They are hoping that the pains will pass in the next week or so, but in the meantime I am just taking it easy. He is healthy and a little big but they really aren't too worried right now. He is very active and does not like the monitors at all. He is very into sucking his thumb and fingers!!

July 20 appointment

July 20, 2006 Last Friday, we had another appointment. The baby's heartbeat was 157 bmp. (the previous appointment is was 162 bmp) They also did the quad screen test. The results just came back and the baby is healthy. All of the tests came back normal. We are still waiting on the cystic fibrosis test results. It's a wierd feeling, but makes this pregnancy more real now. My next appointment is on Aug 11th and the Level 2 Ultrasound is scheduled for Aug 25th (this is when we can find out the sex). 13 weeks pregnant!!

June 20, 2006 Well Baby Dillard and I are doing wonderful!! We just passed the 13 week mark. Only 27 weeks more to go..I still have terrible morning sickness (or all day sickness as I call it), but today is a good day!! Here's hoping that I am slowly getting better!! Anyways, we had another appointment on Friday. We got to hear the heartbeat, which was 162 bmp. Everything else checks out ok.We have our BIG ultrasound scheduled for August 25th. If Baby Dillard is cooperating, we will know the sex then. Also if you would like to see if you can predict the baby's weight, gender, birthday date, etc. you can make a guess at http://www.expectnet.com/. Then enter the baby game as BabyDillard (all one word). You will enter it under the Invited guests section on he left hand side. Hope you are all doing well.. more later..

We are PREGNANT!!!

April 25, 2006 we found out we were pregnant!! Chris didn't believe me and I think I took about 3 tests, including a digital one so that he would believe.. how exciting.
Chris's reaction to me was "OK".. he was shocked that it happened so fast.. :-)

The start...

Chris and I met on http://www.houstonconnect.com/ on May 5, 2004. Our first date was at Ninfa's when I worked downtown Houston. That date continued into the evening and we went to the Cheesecake Factory, bowling, and watched some movies at my place. (yummy) I met his family a couple of weeks later. I met his daughter, Christine, about 2 weeks after we started dating. (what is funny is that on our first date, he said that he didn't want any more kids and to get married..amazing what a couple of years will do..lol) I moved in with him in April 2005. We went on a cruise to Mexico in June 2005. That was an awesome trip. We were engaged in Nov 2005. We were married January 28, 2006.
