Trip to Boulivar Pennisula

In early January we took the ferry over to Boulivar Pennisula to see the Hurricane Ike damage.. I was really surprised to see it in such bad shape.

Andrew loved the birds though.

this is the only house standing on roll over pass.. (it's the one feature in the news all the time)

First Snow!!

It snowed in Houston!!! This is the first time that Andrew has seen snow.

Removing the bushes...

We finally decided to remove the bushes in front of the town house so that we could sit out with the kids..

This is the stump that took like 3 hours to get out..

After.. we started at 8 am and finished at almost 9 pm.. so these were taken last night.

We still have more to do, but you get the idea..

we now have a useable sitting area..
